Hello from Cedar Lane.

Door-to-door transport for dogs and cats, based on Cedar Lane in Cedar Vale. Pet-only rides, a named person at each end and a travel tag on every passenger.

Getting a pet somewhere shouldn’t take half your day.

Native Pet Travel started with a simple problem: getting a pet somewhere usually means someone taking half a day off. The groomer, the boarding drop-off, the ride home after a stay, the move across town. Each one needs a person who knows how to get a dog or cat from one door to another calmly.

We’re based on Cedar Lane in Cedar Vale and plan rides around the neighborhoods nearby. Every ride is door to door, planned with you before the day and ends with a named person at the other end. Our rides are pet-only, so the passenger gets our full attention.

Dogs and cats travel differently, so we treat them differently. Cats stay in their own closed carrier from your door to the next one. Dogs ride in a secured crate or clipped in with a car-safe harness. Everyone travels with something from home.

And every pet rides with a travel tag: their name, where they’re going and who’s waiting. It’s a small thing, but it means everyone at both ends knows exactly who they’re looking after.

What every ride comes with.

  1. Door to door

Collected from your door, handed over at the next one. No meeting points or waiting rooms.

  2. A person at each end

We agree who hands over and who receives before the day, and hand your pet only to them.

  3. Their own space

A closed carrier for cats, a secured crate or car-safe harness for dogs, and something from home.

  4. A message on arrival

We let you know when your pet has been handed over, so you’re not left wondering.

What we never do.

  • Leave a pet at an address with nobody there
  • Let a cat out of their carrier during a ride
  • Hand a pet to anyone you haven’t named
  • Add detours or extra stops to your pet’s ride
  • Offer pet ambulance or emergency vet transport
  • Plan international or long-distance pet travel
