How it works from Cedar Vale.

Collected while you’re at work and brought back to whoever is home.

A ride home is often the one owners need most. Grooming finish times move, boarding homes have collection windows and daycare closes before many of us leave work. We collect your pet and bring them back to whoever is home.

Before the day we agree the collection address, when the team expects them to be ready, who will hand them over and who will be waiting at home. If they’re coming back from a longer stay, we’ll ask about their bag and anything the team has to pass on.

At home we hand them over with their bag and the team’s notes, and let you know they’re back. If you’re still away, the person at home will know everything you would.

How the ride goes.

  1. Before

    Plan the pickup

We agree the collection address, the ready time and the person at each end.

  2. Collection

    From the team

We meet the team, check their bag and any notes, and settle them for the ride home.

  3. The ride

    Home, directly

A calm ride in their own space, with their blanket from home beside them.

  4. Handover

    Welcomed home

We hand them to the person you named, pass on the bag and notes and let you know they’re back.

Dog or cat, it’s planned around them.

What changes for each passenger on the ride home.

Dogs

  • Tired dogs often settle quickly on the way home
  • Their lead goes to whoever opens your door
  • Tell us if they’ll need a quiet spot after a groom

Cats

  • Home in the same carrier they went in
  • Handed over still in their carrier, door closed
  • Let them come out in their own time at home

When the ready time moves.

Grooming can take longer than planned and boarding homes sometimes have a set collection window. Tell us what the team has said and we’ll plan around it. If the time changes on the day, we’ll talk to you and the team and agree a new pickup.

If you’re still travelling when your pet comes home, make sure the person at home has their food, any notes from the stay and a quiet place ready. We’ll go through everything the team passed on with them at the door.
