How it works from Cedar Vale.

Groomer and daycare runs on working days are our most common Cedar Vale rides.

An appointment run gets your pet to their booking without you leaving work or juggling the school run. You book the groomer, boarding home or daycare first, then tell us the time, the address and who will be receiving your pet.

We plan the pickup around the appointment so your pet arrives settled rather than rushed. At the other end we hand them to the team with their bag, their tag and anything you’d like the team to know.

Need them home again afterwards? Ask about a ride home when you get in touch, and we’ll plan both legs together around the time the team expects them to be ready.

How the ride goes.

  1. Before

    You book, we plan

Share the appointment time, the address and the person expecting your pet. We plan the pickup around it.

  2. Pickup

    Bag, tag and hello

We check their bag and any notes for the team with you, then settle them for the ride.

  3. The ride

    A calm ride over

Straight there, so they arrive settled. Cats stay in their carrier, dogs stay crated or clipped in.

  4. Handover

    Handed to the team

We hand them over with their bag and notes and let you know they’ve arrived.

Dog or cat, it’s planned around them.

What changes for each passenger on the appointment run.

Dogs

  • A short walk before pickup, especially before a groom
  • Their usual lead and collar or harness
  • Food in a labeled bag if they’re staying for boarding

Cats

  • Their own carrier, so they have something familiar there
  • A note for the team on how they like to be lifted
  • Covered or uncovered carrier, whichever they prefer

Groomer, boarding or daycare.

For grooming, tell us whether your groomer likes pets to arrive a few minutes early or exactly on time, and whether they’ll need collecting the same day. For daycare, it’s usually just their lead, their notes and a quick hello at the door.

Boarding drop-offs have the most to hand over: food, a bed or blanket, feeding notes and any care instructions. Pack them in one labeled bag and tell us what’s inside, so we can go through it with the team rather than leaving anything in the van.

Pickups in Cedar Vale.

A few things that help the hello at your door go smoothly.

  • Front doors and gates

Tell us which door to use and where we can stop. Keep gate codes with you and meet us at the gate.

  • Busy school mornings

If the school run makes your street busy, tell us. We’ll agree a time that keeps the hello calm.

  • More than one pet

Tell us about every pet traveling. Each one rides in their own secured space.

In their bag.

  • The appointment confirmed with the business
  • The address and the name of the person expecting them
  • Food, bed or blanket for a boarding stay
  • Any forms or notes the team asked for
  • Your plan for getting them home

What we’ll ask you

  • The appointment time and the business’s address
  • Who at the business is expecting your pet
  • What the team needs from you
  • Whether you’d like a ride home too
